Can tolerance backfire? New paper in Current Psychology

NSN Lab has published a new paper in collaboration with Kumar Yogeeswaran and colleagues. The study examines the neural and attitudinal consequences of intergroup toleration. We found that calling for toleration of Muslim minority practices elicits an aggressive backlash against the group among conservatives but not liberal participants.
